"Woah," She interrupted, pausing to turn around and go in his direction casually, walking up beside him. "Where are you going?" Because both of the two knew she was definitely going to annoy him the whole way to his office; deprived of sleep or not. (( slightly short sorry ))

"My office," he sighed, keeping his answer short and simple. He tucked the large envelope of papers braced to his side, hoping to get to his office soon; he didn't want to deal with Sarafine right now. Soon they were getting closer to the offices, and Levi was almost hopeful that he would be able to get there with minimal conversation.

"For what?" She asked suddenly, actually curious. For she knew what she would go to her study for; of course, but not he, or any human in specific. It was probably some form of paperwork, though, that much she could assume.

"Paperwork," he said curtly, before entering his office and slamming the door in her face. In truth, he didn't want to do any of the paperwork or sign any contracts; it was tedious and boring. He laid the ridiculously thick stack on his desk and took out his favorite pen and sat down, and reached for his tea, which was already sitting in the corner of his desk.

After having the door slammed in her face, she opened it out of reflex. "Come on, why I can't I just hang around here. It's not like you have anyone better to talk to," Sarafine said, somehow both polite and curt. "I'm not that much of a nuisance that I can't handle not messing your paperwork up,"

"Tch, that's hard to believe," he muttered incoherently, "I can't have distractions while working." He took his pen and the first paper on the stack and started to glance through the 'terms of agreements,' not really caring. With a quick flick of his wrist, he signed on the dotted line, saying that he would do blah blah blah, basically the usual papers he got.

A brief silence fell between them as she stood in the doorway, thinking of whether to go in or not. And so, finally she took the chance and began slowly inching into the office, ignoring what he had said. Perhaps he won't even notice me, Sarafine thought.

Levi glanced up as he saw Sarafine move into the office, looking like she was minding her own business, which she wasn't. He just looked down at his paperwork and continued suit, hoping she wouldn't get into any trouble and rearrange his things or make his possessions dirty.
(sorry it's so short)

Minding to herself (well, mostly, since she was in his office, after all), Sarafine had inspected a few things laying about, picking it up and examining it. That, and also completely disregarding the fact Levi was busy, because she'd tend to mutter quietly about how something she was looking at - yes, anything spanning from a pen to a paper - was just oddly placed in an office; or at least something along those lines.

Levi glanced up while he was working from seeing the wandering witch touching his things in the corner of his eye. He could swear his eye twitched in irritation as she ran her fingers along the books and objects sitting in his office. Eventually she got her hands on a little tin box that had previously been placed on an empty section of one of his bookshelves. "Oi! Get your hands off of that; didn't anyone ever tell you not to touch things that aren't yours?" he growled, rising from his seat and grabbing the box from her grip, placing it gently on the shelf where it belonged.

She eyed the little box for a moment, fingering it while wondering what it was at the same time; that was, until he snatched it from her. Giving Levi a sideways glance, she tapped a single finger on the bookshelf of where he had put it back. "Huh?! Why is that so important, anyways?" Sarafine said, slowly inching her hand towards it - even more curious now. "What do you think I'm going to do, destroy it? Just let me—" and with that, the Caster snatched the box off the shelf.

With one swift movement, Levi tore the box from Sarafine's grip when she was just grabbing it, when her own grip was at it's weakest. "Learn to mind your own business, brat," he growled, taking the box and sitting down at his desk with the box in his lap. Damn, if she were to just get some humility and ask then I might show her... she'll laugh her up-tight little ass off... Keeping a strong hand on the handle at the top, Levi guarded it while sipping his tea, which had gone a little cold.

"Tsk. Fine, not like I cared anyways, y'know," Sarafine grumbled, already reaching from something else she could spot, carelessly holding it in one hand and then spinning it back into a different spot from where she'd picked it up. Occasionally, she would glance at the box he was holding, a baleful expression on her face. "Okay—it's not that I care, because I don't," she growled, "But I'm curious, so .. Ahem," she put out her hand, expecting him to place it there. The Caster almost completely forgot he wasn't one of her colleagues, and expected it in her hand immediately.

"Tch! I'd rather open it myself- at least you asked," he muttered, opening the rusty latch, which was hard enough to get open with the rust on it as it was; Levi's hands were particularly strong, as was the rest of his body. He easily pried it open and lifted the lid, revealing a select collection of dried out leaves. With the opening of the little tin box was a great smell, with scents of spices and herbs. It was Levi's collection of tea leaves; he found it awkward that Sarafine now knew- at least she knew barely anything about him, otherwise it would be all the more awkward. He looked down at the leaves, then up at Sarafine, preparing to see a gloating and terribly amused face. He glared into her eyes to intimidate her with his gaunt gaze, probably effectively doing so to prevent her from doing more than a subtle reaction.

"Uh.." She said, breaking eye contact with him as soon as he began glaring at her, and instead kept her gaze steady on the open box. "Uh.. you know, that's really weird." It was like he was coaxing a laugh from her, what did he expect! Holding any and all laughter in, she finally pried her eyes off the dried out leaves, and back to him. "Like, really weird. I don't know a single creature that would have a collection on such .. amusing items of choice." She said, finally beginning to snicker under her breath until she had to turn away from him and the box so she wouldn't continue laughing on.
