Levi watched her get up, dusting off her dress, and traveling to the door. Feeling like he was going to go insane, he kept his calm composure, trying to rush Sarafine out the door before someone saw. "Who cares? Get out," he said, before exiting his room by shoving past her and walking down the hall to Erwin's office for his work that day. He didn't even look back; just the thought of Sarafine made his head hurt.

She snickered silently to herself, watching him walk down the hall. And so, Sarafine walked out of the doorway, down the hall, and entered the washroom. With a brief glance to the mirror, she was slightly horrified, then shrugged it off and began washing her hands. Sarafine watched the water run for a moment, before returning her hands back under the water to splash it onto her face. The water felt cold, and good, considering the fact she wasn't too fond of it. Finally, she turned the tap off, and exited the washroon.

Levi's boots made soft clunks as he walked down the oak-floored hall to Erwin's office. With each step he took, he felt more like he wanted to just pass out. Heh. This stupid hangover isn't over, yet... He stifled a yawn as he arrived at his door, hearing a pen scratching parchment in the wee hours of morning where everything was bathed in a soft yellow light, when the birds only had just started to sing. He grasped the door handle, turning it downwards and entered. He almost regretted entering the office because when he did, Erwin looked up and his expression changed to that of pity. Narrowing his eyes, Levi said hoping the commander would avoid any sensitive subjects, "I'm here for my paperwork."
Erwin looked up, seeing Levi entering his office and asking for his daily paperwork. Upon further inspection of the (slightly) younger captain, he looked rather gaunt and haggard, almost sick. Erwin had always worried for the young man, especially after the losses of Isabel and Farlan. Even before that, he had not been a particularly happy fellow. Before handing the shorter man the papers, Erwin asked, "Levi, are you alright?"
Levi glared at the blonde man, as if daring him to say more. "I'm fine," he said firmly, grabbing the papers from Erwin's hand and turned to leave his superior's office. He walked back down to his own and leaned back in his chair, massaging his temples.
Erwin watched as Levi grumbled and went out of his office. He looks terrible- 'probably why he wasn't at dinner last night. Maybe he's ill, Erwin thought to himself, returning to his work. He scoffed to himself, Heh. Maybe I'll get Hanji to look after him. He very well knew that the mad scientist irked Levi, but Erwin knew that Hanji wouldn't hesitate to do what she was asked of and make sure he was comfortable.
(OMG THAT SHOULD HAPPEN)

Sarafine had already headed outside – nowhere far, really, perhaps she just needed some fresh air. She wasn't entirely sure why she had even went outside, but the breeze felt a bit more relaxing, even if it wasn't naturally made. The heat felt as if it were radiating off the walls of the building itself, but Sarafine had definitely felt much intensely warmer days than now. Finally, she sat down, resting her arms atop of her knees; too deeply into her thoughts to even think about anything around her.

Levi sighed heavily and sat up straight, getting to work on his assignments for the day. As he worked, all he could bear was the clock ticking. He tried to focus on his paperwork, but the longer he looked at the text, the worse he felt, and the more his head pained him. He closed his eyes and rubbed the bridge of his nose between his thumb and index finger before looking back at the sheet, wishing he would be able to finish soon. Damn, today's cleaning day after lunch... Thinking of lunch, Levi realized that he had overlooked breakfast because of all the time he was sleeping off the aftermath of vomiting twice in a row. Still not feeling the urge to eat, or even have a pang for tea, he tried to let his mind wander to other things so as to not make him feel bad again; the mere thought of food was enough to make Levi feel nauseous, let alone the smell. He blinked rapidly, attempting, yet again, to focus on his work.

The day became hotter as it advanced, though she could still feel the faint breeze helping to cool down the temperature a bit. Sarafine sighed, stretched, then rose from where she was sitting. Her headache from last night had definitely faded, but she felt a bit more exhausted than usual. Brushing off the thought, she turned and walked back inside, immediately feeling the waft of cool air compared to the outside. The Cataclyst rubbed her eyes as she walked down the hall, considering going back to the washroom to splash the water on her face again, because for once, it felt rather nice.

Levi had been working for a couple of hours before hearing a deafening knock at his door. Almost instantly knowing who it was, he yelled angrily, "Come in!" He quickly composed himself, sitting up straight at his desk when the insane scientist sauntered in.
"Levi!" Hanji exclaimed, "Erwin told me to look after you because you were sick. So that means you have to do everything I say!" With that, Hanji grabbed Levi by the upper arm and dragged the exhausted man all the way to his room. "There, now roll into bed and sleep. No getting up, not even to pee. And don't die- I shall be back with some soup," she ordered, about to turn and leave for the kitchens. Levi, still standing, glared back at her with the deadliest eye.
"I'm not sick. It's a hangover, and I'm not going to die," he said firmly. "I'm going back to work." He tried to exit the room, but was stopped by the unrelenting scientist.
"Nah-ah-ah! If you're going to your office, at least let me get you some soup. Come with me, it's okay if we need to take a break halfway," Hanji said tauntingly, trying to make Levi feel as if he was weak and sickly (though she obviously knew that he wasn't). Levi growled, shoving her in the shoulder.
"Shut up. I can get there myself," he spat, walking ahead of the taller subordinate. As soon as the captain was in his office, he sat down in his chair, and attempted to continue his work. With all of the annoying and gratingly unpleasing to the ear comments from Hanji, Levi couldn't feel worse with the throbbing going on in his head. As if on cue, Hanji banged open the door with a crazy grin on her face and a steaming bowl of soup. She marched over to his desk and laid it in front of his papers, offering the spoon to him.
She hesitated, then snorted, trying to hide some mad laughter. "Do-- do you want me to spoon feed you?!" she asked, her voice going up in pitch near the end of the sentence with badly concealed amusement. "Here comes the airplane," she said in a sing-song voice. She quickly covered her mouth with her hand, bending over and trembling in the effort not to make a peep. Levi only glared at her more with the glare of death, willing her to die from just his look.
Grabbing the spoon from her quite forcefully, Levi took the spoon and dipped it in the broth. "I can feed myself!" he grunted, lifting the spoon up to his mouth and gulping the liquid down. Eating the whole bowl (which rather surprised him), he let the spoon fall into the empty bowl. Crossing his arms at the hyperactive woman, he waited for her witty response.
Hanji giggled, "See, that wasn't so hard." She took the bowl and exited the room, probably to deposit it in the kitchen and to come back to anger Levi even more. He sighed, returning to his work.

Sarafine had returned back into the washroom, though she heard so many incoherent, loud voices in the background, it was even more distracting than the water itself. She shrugged to herself, turning the tap on and watching the water flow once again. She was there, watching it, just for a few brief moments, until she finally stuck her hands under, careful not to get it on the crisscrossing fabric on her arms. The Cataclyst was just playing around with the water for the next following few minutes, making it quite literally move. Definitely, water wasn't her favored element, but she hadn't practiced on it many times before, probably because of that one reason, too. Finally, she realized, she probably would look insane, even if the water was so distracting, just staring at water intently and fluttering her finger. Sarafine closed the tap, the water no longer running, then she glanced over to the door, and went to exit.
((sarafine have you ever heard of wasting water))

Levi had finished his paperwork in a matter of only half an hour. He stacked up the pages, opened the door, and left for Erwin's office, keeping a wary eye out for Hanji, who had left him alone since she had made him the broth. He entered the commander's office (of which was left empty of Erwin), and placed the papers on his desk neatly, then turned to exit. On his way down the hall, he glanced towards the washroom out of habit (it was usually dirty and he cleaned it often). Inside, he saw Sarafine practicing some water movements with her magical abilities, so Levi just stood there and watched for a moment with his usual neutral, unwavering expression. Once she turned around, startled to see the short man glaring at her though the open doorway, he merely waited for her usual outburst, since it was of no sense to attempt to talk first.

Once Sarafine turned, she met Levi's glare almost immediately, and paused. "What are you doing?!" She finally snapped, narrowing her eyes, quickly exiting the washroom as if she had done nothing at all. "Were you just .. standing there the whole time?" Sarafine briefly took a glance down the hallway, then back to Levi. "I had no idea you were stalking me,"

Levi scoffed, "I'm not stalking you, I just walked by." With an angry glance, Levi turned and walked farther down the hall to the mess hall. Though he wasn't particularly hungry, he could eat some bread. Glancing behind his shoulder, he saw Sarafine following after him. "Who's stalking, now?" he countered back to the dark caster. He was almost amused at the expression that he got back from her.
(sorry for a little bit of controlling)

(( its fine )) Sarafine narrowed her golden eyes and crossed her arms, almost caught off guard by the comeback. "Oh, I'm just walking by, like you were," She said, after a brief moment of silence between the two. The Cataclyst stepped forwards, her glance still set on him. "Besides, you need to be one to know one, do you not?"

Levi frowned. "And what would you know about me?" he dared, blatantly wondering whether she would even ask. Even so, he wouldn't tell her about anything. She would just have to piece things together from the members of his squad, the puzzle pieces, anyway; they didn't know the whole story, either.
(ahh so short)

She paused, as if thinking of a reasonably true answer, but then opened her mouth to speak. "Well, today I found out you were a stalker," Sarafine said, putting her hand over her mouth due to holding back laughter. "What else is there, Levi? That basically sums most of it up, anyways,"

Levi growled at the caster, "Why don't you ask around?" He stalked away and into the mess hall to sit with his squad. They were all there; Petra, Oruo, Gunther, and Erd. The four looked up as their squad leader sat down at the table with a cup of tea and smiled, greeting him. Oruo, with his usual facade of mimicking Levi for kicks from the ladies, frowned and cast his gaze aside, glaring into the distance with drama. "Tch," Levi said, sipping his tea. Petra looked up from her lunch with her usual kind-hearted smile and cheery mood.
"Good morning, Heichou!" she said, putting down her fork. "I bet you're excited for cleaning later."
"Yep," Levi said with no tone in his voice, just sipping his tea, as if to ignore the girl. Out of the corner of his eye he could see Sarafine following him in; even the mere sight of her made a twinge of annoyance flare in his belly.
