She had no intention of eating, but the mere pleasure of pissing him off even more was a even finer excuse to follow him in. A couple of people were also seated there; of course, she wasn't all that familiar with them, but had no intention of making any of those 'good impressions' people talked about. Sarafine entered the room, not speaking a word to anyone as she briefly stared, then sat down too casually, as if to start a serious conversation. In this light, her eyes glowed even more, perhaps a near-searing vision.

Levi sharply glanced over to his side with the sudden appearance of Sarafine sitting at his squad's table. Not uttering a word, in light that she would not taunt him or embarrass him in front of his squad, Levi sipped his tea, his taste buds delighted by the flavor of the black tea which slightly lessened his ever-growing headache. Feeling her piercing gaze upon the side of his head, Levi glanced over once more to see her golden eyes staring at him, seeming to glow even in the brightly-lit room. Out of the corner of his eyes, Levi saw Oruo snickering and adjusting his cravat. Levi thought of the man as slightly annoying, but his case was not as severe as Sarafine's.
Once the woman had been seated at the table, Petra pondered why she was there. She obviously was not a member of Levi's squad, and neither was she even a member of the Survey Corps, or the army, at that. Not wanting to get her hand in the way, Petra simply introduced herself to the woman, whom she couldn't tell if she was menacing or just confident. "Hello! My name's Petra Ral. And who are you?" she asked, giving a little smile for good impressions' sake.

Her gaze flicked to Petra, Sarafine's face skewing away any emotions present, and raised an eyebrow at her. "Huh. Did I ask who you were, again?" The Cataclyst responded curtly, unsure of how she would react, yet still did it - that's just how brazen she was. "Oh, wait. Should I not be here?" Sarafine added, glancing around for a brief moment before returning her gaze back to Petra. "My apologies in advance. I was being stalked." She shrugged, casually waiting for Levi to protest.

Levi simply muttered a, "Tch," and only sipped his tea. Honestly, he wanted to kick her face in because of her consistent annoying personality and stupid comments. But, like in his own nature, Levi kept his calm composure and tried to ignore her. Glancing up briefly, Levi saw Petra snicker, along with Oruo giving a short laugh. He scoffed at their reactions, "She's full of it."

"Me? Full of it? You should know the truth anyway since you did, and that's it," Sarafine shrugged, putting her elbow on the table. "Not really even a debatable matter," She was amused with their reactions - the laughter, it made her feel like she was back in TS, perhaps a certain incubus laughing over her acclaimed 'recklessness', but then a quick insult would follow up. She was used to that, at least. Getting the upper hand in arguments were easy for her—but you wouldnt want her to, that was definitely not a good idea. "Who are you .. Er, people, anyways?" She choked back 'mortals', just nearly letting it slip.

Levi decided not to respond to the statement, but leaned his head on his hand, gently and inconspicuously massaging his left temple. Glancing at the bread next to him, he grabbed a small piece and took a bite out of the tough material. Petra, who had finished her giggling, answered for the group. "We're the Special Operations Squad, led by Captain Levi. We take care of the harder jobs while on missions," she explained.

"Wow, sounds like great fun," Sarafine muttered sarcastically, shifting her golden gaze over to Petra for a moment. "Sorry. Like, really. Can't imagine him leading all of you. Nor can I imagine any of you are of this, 'special operations squad', you're talking about," The Cataclyst said, glancing briefly around the room, awaiting someone's stupid interjection.

Levi sighed in exasperation. "Shut your trap, it's not going to get to them," he ordered Sarafine, finishing off his tea. Indeed, Petra's cheery gaze had slightly lessened, but was more amused than annoyed. Oruo was mimicking Levi (as always), and staring back with a devious smirk. Gunther was actually chuckling to himself and Erd was looking into the distance, being his quiet self.

Sarafine shrugged. "Was worth a try. Besides, it is true, anyways." She leaned back in the chair, as if expecting them to continue conversing between each other again. It was so weird - she was actually beginning to get used to being around people who weren't Turned or Claimed, more a less, mortals. Naturally, she had patience with them, she had learnt to. Of course she hated them; but they had no idea she did. "So uh, what's .. uh, up?" The Cataclyst finally decided to ask, more awkwardly than she imagined, but still.

Petra leaned back in her chair, "Well, today's cleaning day. Every Friday we make the base spotless." Looking around, one would see some individuals getting up and leaving, suddenly brandishing white cloths to cover their mouths and keep their hair back. Some even brandished dusters and brooms before heading out of the mess hall. Getting up, Levi called to his squad, "Come on, lunch's over." With that, Levi put on his own cloths and exited the cafeteria and down the hall, looking for some windows to clean. His squad followed suit, cleaning every surface they could see.

"Wow. That's certainly amusing." Sarafine commented, automatically getting up and snickering to herself nearly the whole time as she followed Levi and his squad - unsure if they knew she was or not. Really, she was just there for amusement purposes - she wouldn't even have been excited to be cleaning like them. Perhaps none of them were, but the chances were slim.

Once everyone had finished cleaning, it was about 4:30 PM. The soldiers in charge of the kitchen had started to head there, beginning to cook the simple carrot stew, clean potatoes, and cook bread. Levi sighed, untying the cloths on his head and face and stuffing them in his pocket. Glancing at Sarafine on his way out of the hall, he headed to his room to read another book until dinner.

She thought about it for a moment; not being the stalker he was, or just straight up conversing with him. She had nothing better to do, it seemed, anyway, so what was the point in not following him? Sarafine casually walked down the hall, keeping a fair enough distance from the two, so it didn't seem like she was also a stalker, because she most definitely wasn't. "Are you as perplexed as I, about how no one here makes any attempts in killing each other after droning on about meaningless conversations?" She asked, revealing herself immediately.

Levi had known the witch was behind him - oh, yes - but as always, decided to ignore her until she revealed her presence to him, like she always did. With her words, Levi turned and faced Sarafine. "Sometimes I question it. Which ones?" he asked, referring to what she meant as 'meaningless conversations.' He stuck his thumbs in his front pockets, leaning against the wall with his right toe propped up on the floor.

"Uh, mostly anything that you mortals talk about." Sarafine drawled, shrugging. "I mean, I'm just used to it by now, but you all are so confusing. In so many ways. Emotion-wise, and talk-wise." She continued, speaking as though he were another of her colleagues, though he wasn't. She knew that. "How can I converse with any of you without falling asleep?"
